CORPUS (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the CORPUS mobile application and website (the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information.
By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
You may provide:
Age, sex, height, weight
Body composition data
Activity level
Nutrition data (meals, macros, micronutrients)
Goals (cut, maintenance, bulk)
Notes or optional inputs
Email (if account features are enabled)
This information is used solely to provide tracking, calculations, and app functionality.
B. Health Data (Apple Health)
If you connect Apple Health, we may access data such as:
Active energy (calories burned)
Basal energy
Body metrics you explicitly allow
Apple Health data:
Is accessed only with your permission
Is used solely for app functionality
Is not used for advertising or marketing
Is never sold
You may revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
C. AI Estimation Data
Photo, Label, and AI Feature Data
If you use CORPUS AI features, such as nutrition label scan or meal analysis, you may choose to provide:
Photos selected from your photo library
Nutrition label images
Meal-related text or other optional supporting input
These inputs may be transmitted securely to third-party service providers, including AI processing providers, in order to generate nutritional estimates, structured outputs, or related feature results.
We use this data only to provide the feature you requested. We do not use your submitted content to advertise to you, and we do not intentionally include personal identifying information in AI requests unless you provide it yourself.
D. Automatically Collected Information
Technical Information
We may process limited technical information necessary for the app to function properly, such as:
Device type
iOS version
App version
This information is used solely for maintaining performance, debugging, and improving the reliability of the Service.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not currently use third-party analytics SDKs for advertising or cross-app tracking.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
Calculate BMR and TDEE
Generate macro targets
Track nutrition logs
Provide analytics and summaries
Improve app performance
Enable subscription functionality
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
3. Data Storage
A. On-Device Storage
Much of your nutrition and app data is stored locally on your device.
B. Cloud Storage / Sync
CORPUS may also store or sync certain app data using Apple-provided cloud infrastructure, such as private CloudKit storage associated with your Apple account, when enabled by the app’s functionality.
We take reasonable measures to protect information stored through the Service, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Photos Permission
CORPUS may request permission to access your photo library so you can:
Select images for meal analysis or nutrition label scanning
Save generated meal or summary images back to your Photos library
CORPUS does not access your camera unless and until a camera-based feature is implemented and permission is requested.
4. Subscription & Payments
All payments are processed through Apple.
We do not store:
Credit card numbers
Payment credentials
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We may share limited information with service providers only as necessary to operate the Service, including:
AI processing providers, for meal estimation, label scan, or related features
Apple, for subscriptions, Health integration, and cloud infrastructure used by the app
These providers may process data on our behalf solely to provide the requested functionality or support operation of the Service.
6. Data Retention
We retain data:
While the app is installed
Or while an account exists (if applicable)
Deleting the app removes locally stored data.

Request correction
Request deletion
Withdraw consent
